Mission
- To assess demand and supply of farm products, analyze stock and price situations, estimate/projection of price trends of necessary produces and management of information and to disseminate the related information;
- To establish efficient marketing system through enhancing market infrastructure and facilitating supply chain system of farm produces;
- To monitor the quality of agricultural produces;
- To assist in the formation of farmers marketing group and establishment of linkage among producer, trader, and consumer;
- To accelerate export of agro and agro products establishing agribusiness and agro based industry; and
- To carry on value addition activities of agricultural produces for farmers and traders through providing training and financial support on grading, sorting, packaging, processing, storage and preservation of agricultural produces.
